Yeahhh!! So the team has formed :)
Next step is to figure our where exactly should we go.
We are keen on either going to Ladakh or somewhere in North East. We have started researching about the various tribes located in these areas that we can document but then knowing about the tribe isn't enough to decide. We have to make contact with them inorder to finalize.
Aditya (Adi) my friend, has got me in touch with Pankhuri Singh who travels to Ladakh often and conducts workshop in the region. Pankhuri works with People Tree, New Delhi. I called her today but unfortunately we weren't able to talk as she was tied up that moment.

I am hopeful she would be able to guide me about tribes in Ladakh and also suggest if it is safe to travel and stay in those areas where the tribes are located.
I have a little bit of concern as I am not much of a traveler and neither I nor my parents are comfortable with me traveling such long distances to unknown places on my own. But thats what I eventually want to do - travel & explore on my own once they and I are confident and comfortable. Hope this travel helps me become more confident. Lets see how it goes! Fingers crossed :)
